Psychodynamic therapy focuses on revealing and resolving the unconscious conflicts that are driving symptoms. The primary focus of this therapy is to reveal the unconscious content of a client's psyche in an effort to alleviate symptoms that are causing distress.
Behavioural therapy looks at how the environment affects learned behaviour, and empowers the individual to recognise the triggers, and learn more productive and desirable responses.
Both psychodynamic therapy and behavioural therapy are widely used, in a variety of mental health and emotional conditions.
Our psychodynamic therapist Michelle Dodgson will assess each case individually and agree upon a plan of action with the client.
