Chemical Peels - AHA and BHA Peels

Duration: 1/2 Day (10 am – 14.30)

Prerequisites: 

• Nationally recognised level 3 in Beauty Therapy and a nationally recognised level 3 or above in A&P
• VTCT level 4 in micropigmentation
• Doctor/Nurses

Qualification Gained: ABT Accredited Clinical Wellness Academy Diploma in Chemical Peels AHA and BHA Peels. This qualification will enable you to obtain professional insurance

This course will teach you the theoretical and practical methods required to perform professional chemical peel treatments. 

You will learn:

• Anatomy and Physiology of the skin
• Health and Safety
• Chemical peels and their Benefits
• Common skin Conditions 
• Contraindications to treatment and contra actions to treatment
• How to perform a chemical peel
• Consultation process and pre -peel advise for clients
• Aftercare

You will be assessed practically throughout your course.

At the end of your training you will sit a short theory assessment.
