Working with addictions can be challenging, and this course aims to boost confidence in therapists by giving them the skills and knowledge to optimise outcomes of addiction therapy.

• The neuropsychology of addiction
• Anatomy and physiology
• Pathophysiology of addiction, and the affects of various addictions upon the human body
• The BPS model of addiction
• Common causes of addiction
• Techniques to improve outcomes when working with addiction
• Using hypnosis and appropriate language patterns 
• Ethics of working with addiction
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and referrals

This qualification will enable you to gain professional liability insurance.
