Prerequisites:

(at least one of the following must be held): 

• Nationally recognised level 2 or above in Beauty Therapy and Nationally recognised level 2 or 3 in A&P
• VTCT level 4 in micropigmentation
• Doctor/Nurses

Qualification Gained: Clinical Wellness Academy Diploma in Microdermabrasion Treatments

This qualification will enable you to obtain professional insurance

This course is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to perform microdermabrasion face and body treatments, offering a non-invasive solution for skin resurfacing and renewal.

You will learn:

• Anatomy and Physiology of the skin
• Indications for microdermabrasion treatments
• Benefits of microdermabrasion
• Common skin Conditions 
• Types of microdermabrasion
• Contraindications and contra actions to treatment
• Consultation process and pre -treatment advise for clients
• How to perform a microdermabrasion face and body treatments
• Aftercare advice for clients

You will be assessed practically throughout your course.

At the end of your training, you will sit a short theory assessment.

Students will be emailed pre-course reading theory and assessment documents prior to the course which must be completed and brought with them on the day of training. The documents will be discussed during the morning theory session
