Prerequisites: A&P qualifications and Manicure (min level 2)

Qualification Gained: ABT Accredited Clinical Wellness Academy Diploma in Spa Pedicures

This qualification will enable you to obtain professional insurance​

This course will teach you the theoretical and practical methods required to perform professional Spa Pedicure treatments.

You will learn:

• Benefits of pedicures 
• A&P of the nails, foot and skin
• Disorders of the skin and nails 
• Contraindications and contra-actions to treatment 
• Consultation
• Pedicure tools and products
• Observing the feet
• Corns, calluses and cracked heels
• Spa pedicure procedure  
• Foot and lower leg massage
• Application and nail polish
• Aftercare and homecare advice

You will be assessed practically throughout your course

At the end of your training day you will sit your theory assessment

 
Following the course, you will be required to carry out 6 case studies on clients 
performing a minimum of 2 treatments on each client

• 3 treatments have to include French polish 
• 3 treatments have to include the removal of callus skin

Once these have been submitted, marked and approved you will be sent your 
certificate in the post
