Hypno-Oncology Masterclass with Garry Coles

The fantastic Garry Coles MSc will be with us on Saturday 12th October with his Hypno-Oncology Masterclass.

This course teaches hypnotherapists how to use hypnosis in the cancer journey, and leads to practitioner certification following a short written exam, which can be submitted online after the masterclass has ended. This Certificate in Hypno-Oncology allows the use of the logo on your website and other marketing materials.

The course will be held at our Academy centre in Shotton, Flintshire (not far from Chester). The nearest airposts are Liverpool and Manchester, both are easily accessible in 30 - to 45 mins respectively.

Garry holds an MSc in Clinical Hypnosis, and is one a just a few to have studied at this level in the UK. The day will be highly informative and contains the following elements:

An overview of cancer and the various treatments that may be involved in the cancer journey.
A comprehensive explanation of the benefits of Psychoimmunology
Working ethically with patients with cancer, and in compliance with legal requirements, such as the Cancer Act (1939)
Control of symptoms and side effects of treatment, allowing the client to better manage their own symptoms
Strategies for dealing with clients' symptoms
Gaining a more comprehensive knowledge of the physiological and psychological components of cancer
Creation of a hypnotherapeutic therapy plan for your patients
Gaining work with cancer patients
Understanding the stages of cancer, causes of cancer, and terminology used by specialists
